One case described a problem gambler who turned to the Helpline to assist the characteristics of services as valuable. According to Sandy Yakim, 55 years old teacher of gambling increased after a few personal setbacks, the assistance provided with information and emotional support, counseling and advice on how to get help.

Yakim says, “I have been clean for more than a year. I have money in a savings account. I can shop a little. Life is good, I’m happy, I’ve found my joy again. The Help is invaluable. They provide crying in shoulder, but more importantly on the advice to help you. “
